Recycling programs for people living in large multi-unit residences are likely to vary, and often operate as a separate program than those for single-family residences or smaller multi-unit dwellings. In some instances, large containers are placed in a common area for people to drop-off recycling materials. In other areas, landlords may need to go through a special registration process that includes an agreement regarding the terms and conditions for pick-up.
