Selective Service Registration

Post offices and other organizations that supply, process and respond to inquiries about registration forms which provide information that the Selective Service System can use to identify, classify and deliver individuals for induction into the active military in the event of a national emergency which requires reinstatement of the draft. All male U.S. citizens born after December 31, 1959 are required to register within the 60-day period starting 30 days before their 18th birthday.
